陈报章

  男,研究员,博士生导师。加拿大大不列颠哥哥伦比亚大学博士,20096月入选中国科学院“杰出人才类计划”回国。从20014月开始,先后就职于加拿大多伦多大学(University of Toronto)、大不列颠哥伦比亚大学 University of British Columbia昆特兰理工大学( Kwantlen Polytechnic University), 先后任博士后、合作研究员(Research Associate)和合同教授(Contract Professor1995年获中国地理学会第三届青年地理科技奖,1997年被江苏省教委评为优秀青年骨干教师,1998年入选省“333高层次人才培养工程”中青年科学技术带头人,2014年入选年江苏省委“双创计划”之“创新类人才”和“创新类团队”,曾获国际工程学会优秀研究生IET奖和加拿大NSERCCGS奖学金(国家最高研究生奖学金)等20余项学术奖项。陈报章研究员已主持或作为骨干成员参加完成了加拿大NSERCCFCAS 、中国国家自然科学基金、国家973863国家科技支撑重大项目、国家重点研发专项等10余项科研项目。已在国内外30多个专业期刊上发表学术论文100余篇,其中SCI收录论文70余篇(第一或通讯作者50余篇,其中第一或通讯作者在中科院JCR期刊分区一区论文近20),SCI论文被引用2000余次。在国际大型学术会议上做大会发言10余次。

研究领域涉及碳同化系统、数据-模型同化、-气相互作用、表层地球系统模拟、定量遥感、空间尺度转换、生物地球化学循环和全球变化生态学等。

主要学术成就构建、发展多个数值模拟模型、碳同化系统和数据-模型同化反演系统。主要包括如下几个方面:

  1)       发展了适合中国陆地生态系统的平滑卡尔曼同化算法、滞后窗口和双向嵌套技术,集成构建了我国首个高时空分辨率碳同化反演系统(CarbonTracker-China,简称 CT-China), 并实现在国家气象卫星中心准业务化运行。发展了基于通量塔足迹分析和星地多源多尺度数据融合技术方法,并融合碳卫星观测数,提高陆地生态系统CO2通量的估测能力,为中国碳追踪系统提供了更高时空分辨率的先验碳通量数据。作为世界CT模型的三大系统之一,与欧洲和北美的CT系统相比,大大降低中国陆地生态系统碳收支的评估误差,纠正了北美和欧洲系统低估中国碳汇的错误。详细信息请浏览网页http://www.carbontracker.net/。在嵌套中国的全球同化系统CT-China的基础上研发了区域同化系统(RCAS regional carbon assimilation system),RCAS WRF-GHG V3.6.1 版本上研发,主要采用 FORTRAN Python 编写,主要特点可概括为:(1)实现多核并行计算,可以高效、高分辨率反演区域碳通量以及 CO2 浓度的时空演变过程; 2)该系统利用 POD4DVar 数据同化方法,实现了区域尺度碳排放源和 CO2 浓度的变分同化;(3)利用生态系统碳通量观测数据实时优化生态诊断模型中关键参数(光合参数和呼吸参数),实现自然碳通量和人为碳通量的同步优化;(4RCAS将多源卫星数据(GOSATOCO-2)的 CO2 柱浓度数据和地基观测数据引入到 WRF-GHG 温室气体大气传输模式,构造一套多源卫星-地基联合区域碳同化系统,提高区域碳源汇的反演精度;该系统具有同步反演区域高分辨率(1-5km)自然碳通量、人为碳排放以及 CO2 浓度的能力。 CT-ChinaRCAM结合, 可很好服务于国家碳达峰、碳中和行动有效性评价的重大需求。详细介绍见碳同化系统官方网站:http://www.carbontracker.cn/index.html

  2)       研发了具有自主知识产权集成动态陆面过程模型(DLM: Dynamic Land Model) 该模型与遥感定量反演的地学物理参数融合,把树冠簇团指数(foliage clumping index)引入陆面过程模型中,优化了冠层内辐射传输的模拟,强化了土壤层-冻土层-冰雪层的水、热交换的模拟(面向用户,层数可变),较显著提高了陆地表层与大气之间的能量、物质(包括水、碳、氮等)交换过程的模拟精度。在改进陆面过程模型固有算法和优化模型参数的基础上,DLM加入了人文过程对陆-气能量和物质循环的影响。利用DLM能够开展全球变化背景下自然-人文耦合系统的集成陆面过程模拟及机理分析,进而区分自然、人文要素对生态环境和气候变化的贡献。在美国国家大气研究中心(NCAR)研发的CESM 1.0.3框架下,DLM替换CML,通过编译器(CPL7)与大气模型(CAM)、陆冰模型(SGLC)、海洋模型(POP2)和海冰模型(SICE)耦合形成中科院地球系统模式CAS ESMAS 1.0 (Chinese Academy Sciences, Earth System Modeling and Assimilation System 1.0)

  3)       构建了一个一维大气传输模型 (VDSVertical Diffusion Scheme), 并用以定量评估大气“整流”效应及其年际变化.代表性成果发表在美国地球物理学会主办的Journal of Geophysics ResearchGeophysics Research Letters等杂志上,该模型为高精度CO2和同位素观测资料的合理解释和寻找“全球迷失的碳(missing carbon)”做出了重要贡献。

  4)       构建了一个遥感反演的高分辨率下垫面地学物理参数驱动下的生态系统稳定碳同位素模型,并探讨了北方森林生态系统与大气CO2交换的动力学过程和环境要素对同位素分馏作用的影响机理,是理解碳源/汇机理过程和区分陆地碳汇/海洋碳汇的有效工具,相关的研究成果发表在Global Change Biology Plant, Cell and Environment 杂志上,引起了国际同行的关注。

  5)       把生态系统稳定碳同位素模型与大气传输模型(VDS)耦合,在国际上首次连续模拟了陆地生态系统-大气之间的稳定碳同位素交换及其在大气边界层内传输的动态过程,代表性成果发表在Tellus杂志上。该方法是探讨大气稳定碳同位素整流效应、定量估算陆地和海洋对全球碳汇相对贡献的有效工具。

  6)       构建了温室气体通量和浓度足迹(footprint)模型(SEAF: Simple Analytical Footprint model on Eulerian coordinates),该模型在空间异质性分析、评估、尺度扩展和如何合理解释全球通量网观测资料等方面的研究中发挥了重要作用,相关成果发表在Boundary-Layer MeteorologyGlobal Biogeochemical CyclesBiogeosciences 杂志上。该模拟方法被加拿大碳项目(CCPCanadian Carbon Program)确定为加拿大通量网内各观测站的常规评估方法。

  7)       成功把遥感信息驱动下的定网格大小的EASS陆面过程模型与用于加大拿国家天气预报的超大型变网格大小的区域气候模型(GEM)混合编码(C++Fortran)耦合,具有超大型模型耦合、调试、并行运算的经验。使用在线耦合模型研究了碳、水和能量交换过程的尺度效应。在比较、评估、吸收现有几种国际上流行的尺度扩展方法的优点的基础上,提出了国家和大陆尺度上碳源汇研究中尺度扩展的理论和方法,发展了空间尺度转换的关键技术。代表性成果发表在Journal of Hydrometeorology杂志上。

  8)       研发了区域痕量气体追踪系统(Tracers Tracker,简称TT)。该系统地基联网监测系统、多源卫星遥感反演监测系统、大气化学传输多模式模拟系统、陆面生态模拟系统和高效率-高精度数据同化反演系统于一体,实现大气痕量气体(温室气体、污染气体及污染物)时空动态分布和排放源、碳源汇实时追踪的双向同步优化,并在此基础上结合智能处理机制和三维GIS可视化技术,形成一个完备的高时空分辨率、高精度的痕量气体浓度和地面通量(源汇)强度的实时监测与预报分析平台,为碳中和监测评价、大气环境质量控制、污染与温室气体(CO2 CH4等)减排、污染-应对气候变化协调治理决策支持系统提供公里格网实时监测反演通量数据和科学支撑,为中国、省、市“双碳”目标、污染协同治理国家和地方政府需求提供服务。
